Getting Back on Track: Restarting My Photography Blog Journey
Hello everyone,
It's been a while since my last blog post, and I want to thank you for your patience and understanding during my hiatus. My personal life has been a whirlwind, and I honestly wasn’t in the best headspace for a while. A bout with writer’s block didn’t necessarily help either. Now, I'm excited to be back, feeling refreshed and more motivated than ever to share my passion for photography (and more) with you.
Reflection on the Hiatus
During my time away, I’ve been working to plan content and recently had a nice mental reset, which has greatly increased my motivation to create. From capturing cityscapes to motorsports, I've been pushing my creative boundaries, and planning more content to add to the portfolio and to share with you all. I've also been taking the time to reflect on my journey and the direction I want for this blog, and my content as a whole, moving forward.
Goals for the Blog
As I return to regular blogging, I have some clear goals. Here’s what you can expect:
Regular Posts: I plan to post new content every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Each post will delve into different aspects of photography, from cityscapes and portraits to motorsports and events.
Engaging Content: My goal is to provide you, the reader, with engaging content. From tips and inspiration that can help you on your photography journey to insights into what I do when shooting, gear posts, and beyond, whether you're a beginner or a seasoned pro, there will be something for everyone. Sometimes, it may even be a post that has nothing to do with photography, but some other interest I may have, or a topic that has been requested.
Community Interaction: I want this blog to be a two-way street. I want to hear your feedback and comments. Please let me know what topics you’re interested in, any questions you may have, and what you’d like to see more of on the blog.
What to Expect
To give you a sneak peek, here are some of the upcoming topics you can look forward to:
Portraits: “Capturing Emotion: Tips for Powerful Portrait Photography”
Motorsports: “Thrilling Motorsports Photography: Capturing Speed and Action”
Events: “Event Photography: Capturing Memories That Last a Lifetime”
Photography Tips: “How to Use Natural Light in Photography”
Request for Feedback
I want to hear your input! I want to hear your thoughts on the type of content you enjoy most and any specific topics you’d like me to cover. Do you have any questions about photography techniques, gear, or editing? Maybe you have questions about motorsports? Are there particular challenges you’re facing that you’d like advice on? Please leave your comments below or reach out to me directly via the form on my contact page.
Thank you for sticking with me, and I can’t wait to embark on this new chapter together. Here’s to creating, sharing, and capturing the world through our lenses!
Happy shooting,
Ryan
